M...M...M..MONSTER JAM!

What did I do for Valentine's day? 3 Words... MONSTER. TRUCK. RALLY. My man knows me what can I say? It was SO much fun! We had to celebrate Friday night because I had to work Saturday night. I have a problem with secrets being kept from me or surprises, so he of course wouldn't tell me ANYTHING till we walk into Energy Solutions and the whole building is practically vibrating and all you hear is "VVVRRRRROOOOOOM VRROOOMMMM..." I was in disbelief. I've always wanted to go to a monster truck rally and my dreams came true! The scenery (3 ton trucks jumping off ramps 30 feet in the air), the ambiance (cut off plaid shirts, babies in camo, gas fumes assaulting your nostrils, and enough beer to fill an Olympic swimming pool). Ahhh, it was lovely. :) Maybe if you watch the video you'll understand my love for the whole monster truck lifestyle, or you'll think we're nuts...Either way we had a blast.

After that we went and picked some stuff up from Brandon's dad in Syracuse and lucky me I got to hear the DETAILED story of Brandon's conception! Ever heard of the "Rhythm method"? Probably not because it doesn't work, Brandon is proof of that! It was hilarious, his dad is a character so we talked with him for awhile and then went home. My family came up so Saturday we hung out with them for a little bit. Monday was fun we went bowling with my fam and rocked them all! On the first game Brandon won with me coming in at a close second. Then the second game I beat everyone. It was pretty amazing coming from the girl who once got an 18 total score. It was so much fun, but my family definitely does not go bowling for the skill level.

Saturday night (valentine's day) I came home from work to Brandon who had hid 13 ( a dozen plus one he forgot about) paper roses in my apartment with chocolates and reasons why he loves me on the roses. I had to go around finding them and it was SO cute.

The seashell he had engraved when he was in Florida, that's what we had to pick up at his dad's house! Who even knew you could engrave seashells?? I love it. <3
Oh and me and the girls from work went to Spark! It's this non-alcoholic bar lounge place in Provo. It has a really cool vibe, we had fun sipping our Mint Mojitos and Apple Martinis and talking... I'm really lucky to have such awesome girls to work with!!
