The Little Mrs.

Well I'm married, and it is gonna take awhile to get used to! Someone at work said "bring your husband with you" and I was like wait my what?? But I love it! Marriage is awesome. It's an adjustment living with someone (especially a BOY) but it is SO fun. Now we get to snuggle up on the couch all we want and don't have to say "well I better go, it's getting late..." it's great. :)

For those of you who don't know we are now PARENTS. Yes we have a brand new baby chameleon, born 6/9/09. He is about an inch long and his name is Fabian Sam Welling. (You're welcome Ham!) He is named after our tour guide/driver on our honeymoon in Ensenada. He is the love of our lives, and Brandon is probably the cutest little chameleon Dad ever. He sits in front of his cage and just watches him to make sure he's eating or he can reach his water, and he asks every pet store employee for advice on him. One crazy employee told us to take him in the sun because he would LOVE it. Well he HATED it! He got all hot and dark dark green (he gets dark green when he's stressed or upset) and tried to hide, he was WAY too hot! He's a less common breed so people don't really know much about them and tell us bad advice i guess, but he is recouperating well, and eating pretty good too! We love him.

So about the wedding... it was great! Okay so I forgot the Marriage License at my house (a neighbor had to bring it to the temple), it was super windy, and my flower lady was late but it doesn't matter because it was great! A lot of people showed up to help us celebrate, we really were so happy so many people came. Best day of my life. :)

As far as our honemoon goes we had a blast. We stayed at the Bellagio the first night and then went to Cali, stayed in a cheap little Motel I don't even remember the name of and then on Monday went on a cruise. The cruise went to Catalina Island and Mexico and it was SO fun. Brandon ate enough to feed a small village in Africa, and it was great. In catalina nobody has cars, they all drive golf carts. Their driveways are golf cart sized, it's pretty funny but it's a pretty town, we rented a golf cart and explored a botanical garden and memorial.

Then in Ensenada we went to "La Boufadora" which is a cool blowhole 40 minutes from the touristy part of Ensenada, but there was another little market out on the way to the blowhole that had SUPER yummy dried mangoes and my fav, churros!! 10x's better than any churro i've ever had, promise. Brandon haggled down a guy and bought a belt buckle that the guy originally tried to sell for $55 but he bought for $17. :) And I got a bracelet and some salt and pepper shakers (i collect them) and some presents for fam. We had a ton of fun relaxing and being touristy! It was amazing.
