The Summer Scoop

Okay heres whats goin down in Welling town. For Pioneer day we went camping with a bunch of friends in Mona which is about 30 min. from Provo, just a little campsite with a pond and rope swing and dutch oven cooking from heaven!! It was so fun, heres a little sample:

We even brought home 2 tiny little guppy fish and put them in our aquarium! The teeny one was quickly eaten, but the other one is still goin! At first he had to be on his toes because the other ones wanted him but now he is out in the open swimmin with the big boys! He's just a little guy.

Other than that adventure we have just been hanging out a lot and working! We also got a Gamecube! Seriously underrated! I had no idea. We got Mario Cart double dash and it is seriously the same as the Wii Mario Cart but with partners (double dash, get it) and the graphics are great. I'm a big fan. And we just got Paper Mario and Mario Golf and Lord of the Rings. A little side story though, we returned our Mario Cart because we found it at another place for half the price, and we go back the next morning bright and early and what do we find? A little black kid walking up to the register with his dad, clutching the one and only copy of Mario Cart Double Dash in his chubby little hands :(. Oh well, we'll get it on Amazon.


On Thursday we are going to Mesa to visit Brandon's mom and hometown! I'm pretty excited, I've never been to Arizona, let alone Brandon's old stomping grounds, and it's about time. We might go to the Grand Canyon too! The only thing i'm not looking forward to is the hellish heat, but maybe my old Vegas roots will kick in and I'll survive.



Our chameleon is doing pretty good, we were worried he was getting sick because he would breathe through his mouth a lot and that could mean he has a lung infection, but he seems to be doing much better, so we're hoping for the best. Also we are in the market for another chameleon, this time a Veiled chameleon (Fabian is a Rudis). Brandon, excuse me "Horatio", is the chameleon master. He is constantly researching them, going to different pet stores, and taking care of our baby. I now have 24 new links in my favorites toolbar, all chameleon sites. One day we would love to have a Panther chameleon (huge, super colorful, but expensive!) and I would love a couple Pygmy leaf chameleons. I <3 them.

Also, I miss my friends! Brittany and Alyssa are back but I don't see them as much as I want. We all went shopping the other day in Salt Lake and that was fun but I've just missed them. We went to Fuddruckers for lunch and goodness have I been missing out, it's delicious! Hopefully I'll be able to hang with the girls more before summer is over!

Well that's life. My little sis is coming up to UVU at the end of August and I'm pretty excited about it. We haven't lived in the same place for a few years, so maybe some sisterly bonding is in order, especially when I'm chapperoning her on dates. :) I can't wait!
