I am proud to say I conquered my fears a little bit and have so far watched 1 and 1/2scary movies! (Dawn of the Dead and 21 Days Later) And they weren't that bad! Okay Dawn of the Dead I did sleep right up against Brandon all night cuz I was a little spooked and then woke up with a heart attack because I thought his alarm was a zombie scream (you get woken up by the static on the radio really loud and tell me that doesn't sound like a zombie). But 21 days wasn't even bad! Maybe because we watched it with our friends Jeremy and Sarah and we watched it on one of those clean DVD players so it was edited... Either way I'm so proud of myself :).
We even got to carve a pumpkin with Jeremy and Sarah, we each did a facial feature, and it turned out pretty sweet! I'll try to get a pic some time. Also this was when I discovered Brandon had never carved a pumpkin before, so we're gonna get some tomorrow and he can have his first full carving experience.
School is pretty hard but we are getting through it... Also Brandon just started a new job working tech support for Pinnacle security, he really enjoys it but the only drawback is we see eachother WAY less. You gotta do what you gotta do though!
I was a sicky last week, don't worry it wasn't swine flu but I think it was a regular flu. I will now never take for granted the ability to breathe out of your nose, because not being able to breathe out of either side sucks. :( But the husband nursed me back to health making me hot chocolate every night in my Mickey Mouse mug (it does wonders) and all is well.
Our little baby chameleon Fabian has been sick for awhile with a respiratory infection so we took him to the vet (turns out its more expensive to take a chameleon to the doctor than for a human) and got him some medicine, which he doesn't like but hopefully he'll get better soon poor baby..
One more little update, I'm trying to cook more often and last Sunday I decided to make some pot roast, and it turned out awesome!

All I did was get some pot roast meat, cover it in salt and pepper and flour and brown just the outside in a skillet of oil, then put it in the slow cooker with potatoes and carrots and covered it in dry onion soup mix and a cup of water and a can of diced tomatoes and cooked on low for 8 hours! It makes the house smell amazing and it's delicious! Escpecially since it's starting to get cold outside.
That's all that's going on in the Welling household, but we're still trying to figure out what to be for Halloween... any ideas?
