On Thursday the 12th I flew out to San Diego to meet up with my bffs Samantha, Alyssa, and Courtney for a weekend of beach fun and festivities! It was a blast. We stayed at a beautiful beach house in Oceanside and left on Monday.

Packing!
Ham & I's flight was delayed, but don't worry, we were set with our dinners (guess which one mine was? If you guess Cinnabon you'd be correct, and you must know me well...) and our Vampire Diaries. We just happened to be in the same spot in Season 2 so it worked out so perfectly...
Friday started out with a delicious breakfast by Alyssa's wonderful mother! Muffins, monkey bread, an amazing egg concoction, fruits, etc. Friday will go down in history as the day I learned that dipping strawberries in sour cream and then brown sugar is FANTASTIC. Right up there with when I learned about strawberries & Nutella.
We watched our little squirrel friends eat our leftovers, this little guy was loving the blueberry muffin we so graciously gave him.
There was a little shopping center near where we were staying so we made a frozen yoghurt run and did a little shopping, where we had much success with cute maxi skirts, yoga pants, and some cute tops. After we made ourselves presentable we went to go see Spiderman and let me just tell you, I was not looking forward to it. I thought it looked bad, I didn't like the guy they picked, etc. Well turns out I was SOOO wrong! It was amazing. So good. Loved it, the guy was adorable, Emma Stone is a babe. Just all around great movie. Go see it if you haven't. After that we went and got dinner at Pizza Port, which was pretty good.
Saturday is was actually pretty overcast! But we entertained ourselves with a bike ride and some delicious cookie making. And lots and lots of Nerts and Speed (card games, obvi.)

Saturday night we went to Ruby's on the pier for dinner. And took pics on the pier while we waited!
If we take too many pictures Courtney starts to make faces and we can't get her to stop...

Oh and our food might have had cancer in it, oh well. It was SO good. Actually the shakes were the best, we may have all got one.
Sunday was FINALLY sunny! So we had a fun beach day:

Thursday night we got in late (see delayed flight above) so we just went for a long walk on the beach and took foggy beach pictures.

We had to take Courtney and Alyssa's sister to the airport in San Diego, so we went to dinner there and Ben & Jerrys which I'm SO glad they don't have here in Utah because that would be a major problem for me.

Monday we headed out, Sam and I drove back to Vegas with Alyssa. This was when I started to get sick :/ so I slept a lot of the way. I got to hang out with my family while I was in Vegas before my flight left which was so fun.Got to hot tub a little, have a delicious home cooked steak dinner, we went to see my sister Christy at work, and even went on a Sonic run. And of course I was reunited with Cow Kitty, one of our kittens we gave to my parents. He still loves me I think. And then I flew back to Utah and was reunited with my STUDLY husband!
It was so much fun, I don't get to see these girls nearly as much as I'd like to! I did get sick (sinusitis I think?) for a few days after the trip, but it was still worth it. :)
