Zipline Fun

On Oct. 3rd we got a surprise visit from Brandon's brother Michael! He was on his way to New Orleans when he missed his flight in Salt Lake, so we scooped him up from the airport and had a great time with him.

That night we made yet another batch of Apple Cinnamon muffins, can't get enough of 'em I tell you! We also explored City Creek mall and showed off some of Salt Lake to Michael, I think Brandon could very well be a Salt Lake/Provo tour guide... 

And we went to Harmons where I fell in love with the most precious pineapple. Ignore the closed eyes and just look at the adorable pineapple.

Then on Thursday we decided to go zipline through Provo Canyon! It was through a company called Max Zipline, if you ask, they'll give you the Groupon deal ($35 each). I heard about them through a deal site called Deal Dragon, but we'd also seen their platforms in the canyon...

It was VERY fun, and they're kind of laid back so they let me RUN full speed off of the ramp, and even jump off a box off of the platform! It was pretty windy that day but it didn't hinder us too much. There are 5 zipline runs and they zig zag down the mountain, some are longer that others and they're pretty high up. We even zip lined over a group of wild turkeys.

We had a great time, it's definitely worth doing and the fall colors were so beautiful.
