The Big 2-0

If you want to know how many people in your life truly love you, just have a birthday! I am now officially twenty years old, and it's gonna be a good year (I can tell). When I was younger I used to look at people who were 20 and think, "wow they are old, and SOO cool." But I just look at myself now and I don't think I feel any different from when I was 16, yet here I am, no longer a teenager! I'm gonna stop thinking about it now cuz it kinda freaks me out. ANYWAYS so on Tuesday the 9th, (my actual birthday) Brandon and I went to babysit my 6 month old nephew, and then we all went out to dinner at my fav, the Cheesecake Factory. It was so much fun and the food was so yum, as usual.

Then after that we had people over to my apartment for delish Baskin Robbins Oreo cookies and cream ice cream cake and balls of heaven! It was SOO yummy and a ton of people came! Then Courtney walks into my apartment with a KITTEN in her arms, for ME! His name is Romeo and he is my baby. I was absoloutely SHOCKED! I immediately fell in love. But bad news is one of my roomates Becca HATES cats so she said we couldn't keep him so I had to drop him off with my family in Vegas and he cried the whole way there in the car! I am my mothers daughter though, the minute I walked in with him she started making him a toy and asking if he had eaten! Good news, my family is keeping him so i get to see him still! Bad news, my little brother renamed him "Harry" (like Harry Potter he told me)... He will always be my little Romeo..

Seriously, after that day I feel so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many people who care about me and love me. Every single "Happy Birthday Jackie!" I got that day made me realize how dang lucky I am. Alyssa made me the cutest birthday video slideshow with pics of me and my friends in it, it was so nice of her and so fun to watch and reminese about good times. Then the day after my birthday Alyssa and I left to drive to California for Disneyland Trip 2008! We picked up my little sister Christy in Vegas and had a blast in D-land! We went Thursday and Friday and there were no lines on any of the rides on Thursday so we went on so many and Friday was good too. We consumed about 20,000 calories each in churros, massive corn dogs, dole whips, fudge, and all manner of California cuisine. We went to the beach on Saturday and had fun in Huntington, and went to dinner at BJ's where we had the famous Pizookie! My birthday week was absoloutley one of the best birthdays ever and I am such a happy girl!

Now it's back to school and work, trying to balance having a boyfriend, adjusting to a semi-new apartment, working, studying, and living without going crazy! I'll try to keep more updated on how it's all going with this blog! I can't believe I even wrote this much, i truly don't have time for a blog but here I am, I hope it's quasi-entertaining, thanks to everyone for making my 20th birthday fantastic! I love you all.
